Laparoscopic microsurgical veress needle consists of a needle tube, clutch, piston, locking connector, stylet needle and red safety belt.The material of the veress needle tube, a microsurgical laboratory product, is 304 stainless steel. The material of the tube core is 302 or 304 stainless steel. The material of the piston and the handle is polycarbonate. The product is suitable for establishing the scope of training application.
Veress needle is designed to establish pneumoperitoneum prior to insertion of trocar and cannula in laparoscopic procedures by insufflation with carbon dioxide via percutaneous insertion. The Veress Needle is designed to release gas into the abdomen. It has an adjustable stopcock.
