It is made of gray colored aisi 301 and aisi 304 stainless steel alloy and does not slip from your hand thanks to the ergonomic grip design on the flat tuma handle. The diamond rim strengthens its gripping feature. 
Especially the castroviejo designed rear spring mechanism can be easily released when you want to release the needle with comfortable springing. Since the tension resistance of the springs decreases while holding the needle, you do not need to spend too much force while holding the needle.

The needle holder porteguard can easily hold all sharp and round needles ranging from 4/0 to 12/0. It is a type of portegular designed for physicians to grasp the needle part of the suture and pass it through the tissue during suturing.
It can be easily used especially when performing surgical anastomosis on veins produced under our brand with silicone-rubber and latex mixture with flexibility and hardness close to human vein in the range from 6mm outer diameter to 1mm outer diameter.
